I hope you all enjoyed our second last Genius Hour today.... I wonder how many of us we have made geniuses out of so far...
Our Refugee novel has got us all on the edge of our seats this week. What great writing! The fact that these events actually happen in the world today has been teaching us the importance of having compassion and empathy for others.
The FSA's are now all marked. They will not be sent home with reports, but parents should expect to receive them soon. They have no impact on a student's report card or grade.

We are still waiting for a few consent forms to come in for our Dec. 21 field trip to Science World.
The Parish Bazaar is this Saturday. PLEASE BRING IN THOSE CANDY JARS- WE COULD WIN A PIZZA PARTY!!! Band students are performing, don't forget! Also volunteers needed for the pancake breakfast that morning- contact Rozana to sign up :)
Finally, if any of your parents would like to help us grade 6-7 teachers sort some costumes for the Christmas concert, we could use a hand. Please email to volunteer.
